Today Roxy, our miniature dachshund, had four precious little puppies. There are 3 boys and 1 little girl. Our neighbor and good friend Tyra, who is a great photographer and took all the pictures below, came over with her kids to see the birth of the last 2 puppies. It was a teaching experience for all the kids, and boy did they have some questions as the babies were coming out:) Kiegen is trying to talk us into keeping the very light tan little boy, but we'll have to see.

She is such a protective mommy.
This little guy came out and didn't make one sound so Spencer thought he wasn't breathing. Nope he was fine, he just latched on seconds after birth.

Oh my gosh Tamia! How wonderful! I am so proud of Roxy, she is a great momma. I remember last time she had puppies and I got to see them! I love the spotted one!
oh wow that would be really cool to have been there to see. 3 of them turned out really dark!
